Easy Vanilla Iced Coffee Recipe

Easy Vanilla Iced Coffee Recipe

You can make your own great-tasting gourmet coffee beverages at home. There’s no need to go to a coffee shop! This easy recipe takes only seconds to make. Just brew coffee and pour it over ice and a few other ingredients.

This Easy Vanilla Iced Coffee is a great choice on a warm day when you want to refresh but you also need to feel energized. That might be in the afternoon to get you through the rest of the work day. Or it could be in the morning before or after a good workout. It may just be when you need a lift, mentally or physically. It is delicious and has a nice jolt.

Start with Alex’s Low Acid Organic Coffee - Fresh Ground French Roast. Or, you can use what you already have if you made a big batch already this morning. A heaping tablespoon is enough to make a 6-ounce cup of average strength coffee. You can use more if you like a stronger brew or need a bigger pick-me-up.

And if you tend to have leftover coffee at the end of the day because you brewed more than you drank, this is a great way to use it up. Just store the coffee in the refrigerator overnight, and take it out when you are ready to make your Vanilla Iced Coffee. If you want to use it cold straight from the fridge, you can use a little less ice in the recipe. Otherwise, you can let it warm to room temperature, or even heat it a bit more in the microwave, before pouring it over the ice.

Aside from brewed coffee, you need ice cubes or chunks, as well as milk, sweetener, and vanilla extract. You can use creamer or cream, or additional milk, for a creamier iced coffee. Or you can try almond milk or soy milk for a vegan version. Monk fruit, stevia, and Splenda are some sugar-free, low-calorie choices for sweetener.

You can vary the vanilla extract to taste. If you prefer, it’s okay to put in a shot of regular or sugar-free vanilla syrup in addition to, or instead of, the vanilla extract.

Alex’s Low Acid Organic Coffee - Fresh Ground French Roast comes in single bags, and 3, 6, and 12-bag packs. Each 12-ounce bag can make about 60 6-ounce cups of coffee - but that can vary a lot depending on how strong you like your brew!
