More than 30 percent of coffee drinkers experience heartburn, reflux, or stomach discomfort after drinking coffee. Many assume the problem is due to the pH level, but that is not the real cause. Coffee naturally contains many acids that add to its flavor and aroma. The true irritant is a compound called Chlorogenic Acid, especially CQA 3, 4, and 5. These compounds can occur naturally and increase significantly during drum roasting.

Almost all coffee roasters use drum roasters, where beans come into contact with hot metal. We take a different approach. We engineered and built our own roaster that uses patented convection technology. Instead of roasting beans inside a hot drum, our coffee is roasted in a fluidized bed of hot air. The beans never touch steel. This method allows an even roast and significantly reduces Chlorogenic Acid levels, creating a smooth, flavorful cup that is gentle on your stomach.

Our decaf is made using the Mountain Water Process, which removes caffeine naturally without harsh acids or chemicals. The flavor stays full and balanced while the coffee remains pure and easy to enjoy day or night.
