Fall is here, and nothing says cozy like a pumpkin latte. But for many coffee lovers, the acidity of traditional coffee can turn this seasonal favorite into a guilty pleasure. That’s why we created this Oat Pumpkin Latte with Alex's Low-Acid Coffee — all the rich, spiced flavor you crave, without the burn. Smooth, creamy, and stomach‑friendly, it’s the perfect way to sip into the season.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened oat milk (barista blend works best for frothing)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or sweetener of choice (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus extra for garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) strong-brewed Alex's Low-Acid Coffee (hot or cold, depending on preference)
  • Optional: Whipped cream or frothed oat milk for topping

Instructions:

  1. Combine & Heat: In a small saucepan, combine the oat milk, pumpkin puree, maple syrup (or sweetener), pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk & Simmer: Heat over medium heat, whisking constantly, until the mixture is hot and steamy, but not boiling. This helps to fully dissolve the pumpkin and spices.
  3. Brew Coffee: While the milk mixture is heating, brew your Alex's Low-Acid Coffee. Make it strong for a rich latte flavor.
  4. Froth (Optional but Recommended!): If you have a milk frother (handheld or machine), froth the hot pumpkin milk mixture until it's light and foamy. If not, you can carefully transfer it to a blender and blend on low speed until frothy (be cautious with hot liquids!).
  5. Assemble: Pour the hot, strong-brewed Alex's Low-Acid Coffee into your favorite mug.
  6. Add Pumpkin Milk: Gently pour the frothed pumpkin milk mixture over the coffee. Use a spoon to hold back the foam, then spoon it on top.
